Brigette Nguyet Ulmer-Loynd

- I had a full life, and grew old gracefully. I enjoy my laugh lines till I looked too long and closely.
- My accomplishments-Having and running my dance studio, staying married to one of my BEST FRIEND’s for 25 years. Early retirement, getting a very short hair cut. making it past 50yrs old, helped build my forever home. Made a couple cool Derby and Burning Man hats. Doing some art work in the Moxie Manor house.
- People said that having 1 good friend was enough for them…..I enjoyed having many close friends in my life and knowing a lot of good people.
- I had the perfect number in my immediate family. Having 1 of each was great…..Since I was adopted I never sought out my blood family. God, plucked me out of the rice fields and put me among corn fields.
- I didn’t save the world or recycled. I didn’t have children of my own. I loved my dance students and my nieces and nephews. I really like my friend’s kids but happy they never asked me to babysit.
- After I sold the dance studio, I worked in the Chesterfield area as a waitress at Sports Page, Creve Coeur Lake House, Brunswick/Bowlero Bowling alley, Friendship Village and for "Kathie" I even volunteered for St Luke’s Hospital till 2020
- Maybe when I turn 65yr old, I’ll try out for the Savanah Nana’s….For those who don’t know what that is it’s the cheerleaders for the baseball team “Savanah Bananas”
- I dated Jack, 5 years before we got married in 2000.
- Jack, has always gotten me nice vehicles but the one I’ll be remembered by is the white jeep he bought and had it zebra striped or the flashy Red Corvette with the spider on the hood.
- My fun started after I started hanging out with Jack. His good friend John Adam’s suggested he should buy a (go fast 38ft) boat from the show “Miami Vice” he named it “Thunderstruck”….
- We Vacationed all over the USA. Mainly Vegas and Florida. We threw a lot of themed parties at our house. Starting with Halloween, NYE, Bunny Bashes, Superbowl's, Putt Putt Parties, Burning Man's, we hosted a few Birthday parties. And yes a few got out of hand. Spaghetti Wrestling, Festivus. I'm going to blame it on the alcohol.
- My Dad is a Super Hero and Jack’s Dad is a legend.…..My Dad, made the driveway up to our house on Hog Hollow road. And helped cut down several big trees for our house project. Then he came over several weeks clearing out the property for our train shed. The 3 of us put in (blood, sweat, and more sweat) to build our dream house.
- Besides my family and friends. I loved Pinterest, being sarcastic, able to mix wine, beer, whiskey, tequila and not getting a hangover, laughing till it was hard to breathe, getting compliments, my cool jewelry, Traveling on “You Tube”, making picture scrapbooks, pestering my inside pets, cleaning my house. Making funny Birthday cakes, watching sunsets on the front porch, designing our house. Trying to keep house plants alive. E-Biking with Jack, walking and talking, mentally bitch slapping aggravating people. Cooking at home, getting to bed early. MTV music videos, lasik eye surgery, dancing music, my party life, my free quiet time, getting adjusted by our chiropractor, having long pointed sharp fingernails, being early or on time. Playing the piano like a 9yr old kid.
- I’ve never been to jail, watched a episode of the Kardashin’s, liked sweet wine, smart in school, been married more than once, read the Bible cover to cover, learned my birth Vietnamese language, graduated college, liked modeling school or talking into a microphone. Liked horror movies or haunted houses, shopped only for name brand clothes/shoes, learned to sew, had good hand writing, liked ocean cruises, monkeys, being in the ocean, jogging, good at remembering names or words, able to French braid hair.
- If I could tell my 20yr old self- “Listen, to the information that the people who were 30yrs older, told you”
- If I could tell my 30yr old self “Don’t try so hard, for people to like you”
- If I could tell my 40yr old self “Keep stretching your body and get ready for menopause”
- If I could tell my 50yr old self "God, is still with me. My loved ones that have passed away are with God. Keep living life to the fullest, you will all be together again"
- For those who want to know. My physical body quit because of_____________________. (But you can, Keep me alive in your thoughts)………..I didn't want a funeral, my body has been cremated. Every time you see fireworks, don't stand right underneath them because it might be some of my ashes landing on your head. If you get a chance to be at Moxie Manor, and you feel my presence. That's the rest of my ashes protecting that area with the magical Fairies, that live around me.
-I was born in Vietnam and adopted out to live in America with a family in Greenville, IL.
-My father John, my Mother Loretta, my older Brother Trace and my younger sister Angel
-I made the choice of being child free and settled to be "Aunt B" to 5 Nephew’s and 1 Niece. "Great Aunt B" to 3 Boys and 1 girl
