Life story

Reggie — fondly known as Jeje to his family — was the eldest child and only son of his loving parents, Rosauro and Laura.

From an early age, Reggie’s curious and playful spirit shone brightly. He could spend hours immersed in his toy trains, cars, and robots, or glued to the screen watching his favorite cartoons like The Transformers, Thundercats, and Voltes V. Before his teen years, he began taking piano lessons, showing an early appreciation for music — especially the distinctive sound and style of New Wave. Whether it was the music, the fashion, or the hair, Reggie embraced it all with enthusiasm!

In high school, Reggie was known to be reserved outside the home, but among family he remained the same cheerful, funny, and witty soul everyone adored. He spent much of his free time playing video games and soon found a new passion for punk rock — even sporting a spiky hairstyle in his senior year, proudly living the “Rock on!” spirit.

When Reggie entered college at De La Salle University – Dasmariñas, he brought that same energy and determination with him. He became one of the pioneering members of the university’s very first Taekwondo team, proudly representing DLSU-D in various competitions. Reggie’s dedication and love for the sport were unmistakable, and he carried that discipline and spirit into everything he did.

Reggie began his career at the family-owned school, St. Angela Merici Montessori, during its early years. There, he shared his passion for learning with students, teaching Science and Computer classes, as well as leading Taekwondo as an extracurricular activity. He cherished his time at the school, guiding young minds and making a difference in their lives. Yet, his adventurous spirit led him to explore new opportunities, and he found his way into customer service.

For 15 years at JP Morgan Chase, Reggie not only built a successful career but also created lasting memories and friendships that became like a second family. His warmth, humor, and dedication left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Reggie was more than his accomplishments. He was a father, brother, son, and friend — a beloved presence who brought joy to those around him. He touched countless lives with his playful antics, his expertise in IT and technology, his love for anime, movies, food, and all things tech. His spirit, kindness, and laughter will forever remain in our hearts.

We love you, Reggie — always and forever.
