Karen Sue Henderson
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” 2 Timothy 4:7
Karen Sue Henderson was a devoted wife, loving mother, fun gammie and loyal friend! She was a follower of Christ and a hard worker in his kingdom. She is now safe in the arms of our loving savior.
Karen had a joy about her that was unmatched. She made everyone around her feel special and loved. She didn’t take life too seriously and could laugh at herself while keeping others around her laughing as well. She was kind, funny, selfless, hard-working, creative, strong, and Godly.
Karen loved yellow roses, unsweet tea, Diet Coke, Mexican food, Ed’s bakery smiley cookies or petit fours, country music, dogs/animals, holidays, warm weather, and the hallmark channel.
She loved to travel and visit new places. She especially loved cruises. She loved spending her summers at the lake or pool. She enjoyed reading, painting, sewing, decorating, and shopping.
More than anything Karen loved her family and we love her more than words can express. She was a blessing to everyone she knew and is missed by so many.
