Life story

Mark Edward Keller, 65, of Clarksburg, passed away on February 5, 2022, at Fairmont Health and Rehab. Mark was born on June 22, 1956, in Clarksburg, WV, to the late George Edward and Nancy Lee Roupe Keller. After graduating from Washington Irving High School in 1974, he studied at Nashville Auto & Diesel School, in Nashville, TN.

Mark was the owner-operator of Mark Keller’s Exxon in Nutter Fort. He was a mechanic at his family-owned business, Keller’s Exxon, until its closing in 1990. He then trained with CRST Trucking where he obtained his CDL. He worked for WS Thomas Trucking until his retirement in 2012.

He loved the open road and traveling, he especially enjoyed taking all his daughters on the road with him to travel America. He was a teddy bear, a faithful friend, and a fun-loving brother. Mark would give his last dollar to anyone in need. His love for his daughters and grandchildren was beyond compare.

Mark is survived by his daughters Manda Ashworth, and husband Jim, of Hagerstown, MD; Meranda “Boo” Keller, of San Jose, CA; and their mother, Polly Courtney; Merissa Clark, and husband David, of Salem, WV; McKenna McCarty, and husband Justin, of Clarksburg, WV; and their mother, Tammy Seders; grandchildren, Colton Keller, Aryanna McCarty, Sophia Clark, Paige and Jenna Ashworth; step-daughter Amberli Owens, of Lumberport, WV; two brothers Chuck Keller, and wife Iva, of Richmond, VA; George Keller, and wife, Terri, of Clarksburg, WV; and sister, Vikki Burrows, and husband Kevin, of Clarksburg, WV; five nieces and 1 nephew, several cousins, and his best friend Kratos.

Mark was preceded in death by grandparents- WO and Genevieve Keller and Charles and Garnet Roupe.
