Adeja Lee Monae Baca
“Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.” Isaiah 57:1–2
Adeja Lee Monae Baca was a beautiful soul whose light touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She had a radiant smile, a vibrant spirit, and a heart full of love for her family and friends. Adeja had a special way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for, bringing warmth and laughter wherever she went.
Her faith and love for God were an important part of who she was. Adeja carried a gentle strength and kindness that reflected the love she believed in. Her spirit and her faith continue to shine in the hearts of those who love her.
The sunflower photo on this memorial page was taken by Adeja herself. It reminds us of the beauty she saw in the world and the light she carried within her. Adeja’s spirit continues to shine and guide the people who love her.
Adeja was deeply loved by her parents, Felisha and Armando. She was a cherished sister, Tres and Aziah, who were not just her siblings but her closest friends and will always carry her in their hearts. She was also surrounded by the love of her grandparents, RuthAnn and Fernando, Sylvia and Armando, Jacob, her uncle and so many others who cherished her dearly.
We will forever be thankful to God letting us have her in our lives even if it was only for 19 years. Though her time here was far too short, the love Adeja gave will live on forever through her family, through the memories they hold close, and through the light she left behind. And now He has her in his loving care until we’re together again.

A Message From Mom
My beautiful baby,
Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. Your smile, your laugh, and your spirit are forever a part of me I think I miss your attitude that used to drive me nuts the most. Even though I can’t see you or hold you the way I used to, I feel your presence in so many moments.
I need you more than you ever needed me, and I’m so grateful that God gave me a life with you. Even if 19 years wasn’t long enough, I will forever thank Him for your love.
When you were five years old, we asked you what you wanted for your birthday, and you said you just wanted a zebra. That memory has always stayed with me. So wherever you are now, my sweet girl, I hope you finally got your zebra.
Thank you for always being you. I’m so sorry I couldn’t save you. I will miss you until the day I see you again.
I love you forever.
Love,
Mom
I’ll see you in the sunshine, my beautiful girl, until the day I can hold you in my arms again.
