Life story

Sylvia June Cannon, Nov. 25, 1944 - Dec. 10, 2023

Born on November 25, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Carl Benson Smith and Dorothy Jewel Smith (Black). June brought warmth and joy to the lives she encountered. June's love for her family knew no bounds. Her heart overflowed with affection for her loved ones, and her presence brightened every gathering. They could always count on Greasy Granny with the pink panties to be the life of the party. June had a playful spirit, lovingly aggravating her family in a way that only strengthened the bonds and memories for all to hold. Nicknames were a staple for the family, a lot of times friends and young family members didn’t know who she would be referring to if she mentioned them by their given name, that will forever be treasured by all.
