Stopped by to visit. There is so much to share with you. Our daughter starts school next week. She will be in Mimi’s class. I think you would be so happy about that. Molly reminds us all of you; she’s funny and outgoing and so very smart. We talk about you all the time. She asks me if you can see her from Heaven. And I melt.
I’m still here, but barely. I still see you in my dreams but not nearly often enough. This will never get easier but it shifts. I loved you. I love you. And I will love you. Forever.
Andy, my love, I miss you more today than the day you left us. Time does not make the weight of your absence any lighter. There are so many things I wish I could tell you. I miss your laugh. I miss our life, even if it was broken at times. You were everything to me and I wish I had told you more often. Molly misses her dada. I do my best to talk about you and remind her of how in love with her you were, and are. How much more beautiful could she be? I mean really? I can hear you in my head saying, “of course she is mama, she looks just like you.” But no, Andy, she is more like you every day.
I keep searching for the reason for all of this pain, but I have yet to find it. I’m tired. My tears could fill this fountain by your grave. I sure hope you’ll be waiting for me at the end of this. I imagine that reunion and I hope when that day comes you are proud of how I’ve raised our baby. It’s so hard. It’s so hard without you here.
My love will never end. It’s just a tangent, rogue energy traveling through time until it finds you again, when our perfect family will be whole. Always & forever perfect in my eyes. I love you so very much.
