Russell Harry Walters, of Richmond Township, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014, at home. Russell, the son of the late Russell H. and Nancy Ann (Hawes) Walters, was born February 18, 1935, in Detroit.

Russell served his country with the United States Army while stationed in Germany from 1952 to 1954.

Mr. Russell Harry Walters was united in marriage with Miss Susan Elaine Aisthorpe on March 29, 1958, in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Shelby Township.

He was employed by the Romeo School District until his retirement in 1988.

Russ had lived in Washington Township for 60 years and then moved to Alpena in 1995 before moving to Richmond Township in 2013.
