Our son, Salvatore, may have not been here with us for a long time, but will forever have a lasting impact on our family, and especially our hearts.
This time here without our son here with us, has made us create the strongest versions of ourselves. It has shown us that even in impossible darkness, small flickers of light and hope remain.
We want to honor our son, and his legacy, as we continue down the path of life without him. We know that he is always with us, guiding us, every step of the way. His presence around us every day is sometimes what keeps us moving forward.
Our son has taught us the meaning of true love. We will be forever grateful for this unmeasurable love he has shown, not only to our family but to our friends, and even strangers.

Glenn and I visited Sal today! As soon as we got coffees at Kismet we wanted to go visit! We love and miss him so much! As soon as Glenn and I sat down on Sal’s bench we couldn’t believe all the fish in the water started to jump out of the water!! We know Sal is saying hi back to us! We love you! On a lovely sunny Friday
I visited SJ's memorial bench. As I sat down, reflected, and took deep breaths, I felt the sun's warmth enveloping my skin. I wished Salvatore and Elijah were here with us, playing near while we enjoyed a picnic by the water under the beautiful tree. A song I sing for you, "Meet you at the light by Desiree Dawson" brings calmness to my soul as I imagine you and Elijah embracing each other tightly.
