

Kenneth W McCall
Kenny McCall was born on June 1, 1993 in Utica, NY. His family resided in Boonville, NY at the time, but moved to Lowville, NY where he was raised.
He attended Lowville Academy in Lowville, NY from grades K-12. While in elementary school, he played AYSO and LYSA Soccer as well as Pee Wee Football during the summers. He was also on the Watertown Blue Sharks YMCA swim team for several years before joining the USA Turbines swim team in Lowville, NY. He eventually joined the modified swim team through Lowville Academy where he broke several school records.
After graduation, he briefly lived in Akron, OH before moving to Cortland, NY where he had extended family members. He worked at McDonald’s in Cortland as a crew member. He also had a dog named Cocoa that he loved dearly and was his best friend that moved with him.
On June 12, 2017, he became lost in a wooded area in the Town of Diana, NY near where his younger sister had been living and he had been visiting. He had a girlfriend that was walking with him that decided she couldn’t walk any farther. She last saw him around 4 AM on June 13, 2017. He kept walking to find help and water, but kept getting more lost. She was found early that morning after she walked back out to the main road. He was reported missing and searchers looked for him throughout a 5 month timeframe with no luck. On November 13, 2017, some of his belongings were found on the Nelson Rd in the town of Diana. The police located his remains on November 14, 2017.
