Kay Kay meets Ivy
This is my favorite video of grandma. I love watching it and hearing her voice.
Kay or Katie as she was called by most, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend among many other things. She was a kind, loyal, strong, and generous woman, and was adored by her family.
She worked many years at a cabinet factory in Richmond, but was able to enjoy an early retirement doing the things she loved and spending time with her family. She loved to drive wherever her heart desired.
She enjoyed riding along with her husband on the golf course and critiquing his golf game.
She was an avid bingo player and won often. She was a legendary marble player and took great pleasure in beating her son in law. She enjoyed weekly card games with family. She was an amazing cook and baked pies that the family would fight over at holiday gatherings. She lit up at Christmas. It was her favorite time of year. She took great pride in being a grandma and great grandma. She loved the littlest ones in the family so much and they loved her right back.
She is terribly missed, but will live on forever in our hearts.
