Life story

From when Dalton entered this world, he was nothing short of a whirlwind—a force of nature, immense in heart, and larger than life in his vibrant personality. A true momma’s boy, he was more than just my child; he was my steadfast companion, fierce protector, and the source of my greatest joy. While he may have occasionally tested his older sister Kayla’s patience, the bond between them was unbreakable. He would have moved mountains for her, whether in a playful brawl over the last slice of pizza or through his clever antics aimed at helping her navigate the rough waters of heartbreak with lightness and laughter.

Dalton embraced every role with unwavering loyalty—a loving father, a devoted son, a supportive brother, a cherished grandson, and a beloved nephew. He was always in motion, pouring his heart into every endeavor and never holding back his enthusiasm. Dalton had a rare gift for bringing laughter to even the darkest days; his infectious humor could lift spirits and ease burdens. He possessed a remarkable ability to connect with others effortlessly, never meeting a stranger, only friends he hadn't yet made. His passion for life was evident in his fierce love for family and friends, his staunch defense of those he cared for, and his commitment to standing up for what was just and right.

Dalton left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him, whether he was spinning jokes that echoed with joy, offering a hand to someone in need, or simply reveling in his wonderfully goofy nature. His laughter was a melody that rang true in our hearts, and his warmth radiated through the lives he touched.

His passing leaves a profound void, an emptiness that words can scarcely encapsulate. Yet, in the treasure trove of memories we hold dear, his love, laughter, and radiant spirit continue to shine brightly. Dalton was not merely my son but my greatest confidant and one of my best friends. Though he may no longer be with us physically, his legacy of love and joy will forever remain etched in our hearts, a vibrant reminder that he will never be forgotten.

Missing you

As I watch your little boy dart around with boundless energy, his every move mirrors your own; it fills me with joy and a deep longing. It feels so utterly unfair that you’re not here to witness the amazing person he is becoming. Our hearts ache with love and the weight of your absence—words can hardly capture the depth of our feelings. Save me a seat, Bubba. I can't wait to see you again.
