Life story
Adevoted husband, father, grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord, entered into eternal rest with his Savior on May 10th. A man of unwavering faith, he lived a life marked by love, kindness, and a deep commitment to his family and his Lord Jesus Christ.He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah, his eight cherished children, and twelve adoring grandchildren, all of whom were the joy of his heart. His legacy of faith, laughter, and steadfast devotion to God will live on in the lives of those he touched.A celebration of his life will be held at First Baptist Church of Lemon Grove on May 24th at 10AM. All are welcome to join in honoring a man who ran the race well and has now received his heavenly reward.“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” – Matthew 25:21
A year ago today
You went away.
Our world was forever changed.
At your very last breath
The Angel of Death
Came and took you to Heaven
This past year of firsts
Were dim, you weren't there
Tears were shed, but the memories shared.
But the joy that still rings
You're alive with our King!
One day death will be no more.

The day we visit your Ebenezer stone.

The CROSS represents a Will to obey God's Word as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
Psalms 40:8 "I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart."
The MILLRYND is a Miller's Tool. It represents an earthly work to do. Work that is done in the home, community, and within the church.
John 34:4 "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work."
The HEART represents purity of mind and body as a pure and holy sacrifice.
Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."
The CROWN represents a Transcendent Cause.
A life that is lived to glorify the Lord will have an eternal reward.
Hebrews 12:1-2 "Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

The Lord called you home, I braced for the last breath you would take.
For days and days, I implored the Lord "When?"
The answer "Soon" came strong.
Your angels came to comfort and tend

We rejoice that we will see you again!

Grateful for my time spent with Jim! I could tell he really loved his family immediately after meeting him. These pictures are from my bachelor party at the Padres game.
My most recent memory with my dad will forever hold a special place in my heart. This past December 2024, my husband and I had the opportunity to take him on his last beach trip. During this trip, we reminisced about all the memories he made at the beach, and he shared how much he was enjoying the sun and the amazing ocean view. When I asked him about his favorite beach memory, he said, 'Beach camping with my kids, seeing the world through your eyes, has always been one of my greatest joys in life.' This trip will forever remain a cherished memory. If I could have one last conversation with him, it would be to say, 'I love you, Dad, and thank you for helping me become the woman I am today.' All your support and love never went unnoticed, and I am forever grateful to have had such a great dad. 💕
