Sister Sister 👯🤍
Morgan O. Lee—the original “IT” girl. Every room she entered, she didn’t just walk in; she owned it. Confidence was her signature, and “no” simply wasn’t in her vocabulary. From the very moment she sat beside me at lunch, she declared her spot not just at the table but in my life. She wasn’t asking for permission; she just knew where she belonged. And from that moment on, she became my one and only true girl friend. I didn’t even realize I had a choice in the matter—she chose for me. What started as friendship quickly grew into sisterhood. We were inseparable, practically extensions of one another. If you saw me, Morgan was never far behind. There were days we spent so much time together I forgot she even had a home of her own. Like true sisters, we fought hard and loved harder. Our disagreements could be fiery because we cared so deeply. Stubbornness ran through us both, and those grudges felt like mountains—until one of us inevitably caved, usually with a laugh. On the surface, I could see why people might feel intimidated by her. Her presence was strong, her confidence unshakable. But to know Morgan was to see past all of that. Beneath the surface was a heart so pure, so selfless, that it could humble you. She had a rare empathy that made her one of the most genuine souls to ever walk this Earth. Morgan carried herself with love and grace—qualities that still linger long after her passing. There was no love like hers. And because of that, she will never be forgotten. Her soul lives on, not just in me but in everyone lucky enough to have truly known her. My daughter will always know the legacy of her auntie. Her impact runs so deep that my baby girl now carries her name: Ka’Mora Morgan Hollingsworth. We love you endlessly, Morgan. Always and forever.
