Charlotte Rayne Higginbotham
Always remember there is never a tomorrow, only today. Be grateful for what you have and don't dwell on what you don't.
Born September 27,2021. She had VACTERL syndrome. She had 19 surgeries (3 open heart) before she passed on March 6,2023 at 17 months old. She is 1 of 8 children. Her siblings loved her some even ask when she's coming home still. She was our youngest and the biggest warrior of all of us. No matter what was going on for her she always had a smile, danced to the Bluey theme song, loved her dad to pieces (he was the favorite). Knew all of her siblings and Mom and Dad. Was beginning to have some sort of "normalness" right before she left us. Everything was looking up. Losing her was like losing ourselves over and over. Grief is hard. We see her everyday though. In the way our kids do things, shows, random clothes that still pop up of hers, Even swear I still hear her laugh and can catch her out the corner of my eye. She was the brightest light in a dark world and she was handed the most.
