Life story

Mike (in Oregon) or MJ (in Utah) was the kindest, funniest, most patient man. He spent his childhood growing up in Utah with his 6 siblings and parents until serving a mission in Oregon. Two months before his mission ended, he met Rachel who he would marry 2 years later. In their 4 years of marriage they welcomed 3 children: Sienna, Trinity, and Calvin.

Mike lived 13 years with a severe TBI causing him daily migraines. Most people never even knew this, as he consistently had an incredibly positive attitude and always put the focus back on everyone else. On a sunny Wednesday in June he chose to end his pain and go live in Peace with our Heavenly Father.

While this was very unexpected and grieved deeply by those who knew him, his family and friends would like to use his short life as a reminder that we never know the pain others are going through.
