Graduating from Highlands Ranch High School in 2020, Joe played on the junior varsity baseball team, freshman through junior years. During high school, Joe began working for Dicks Sporting Goods as a part-time sales associate. Following graduation, Joe was offered and accepted a full-time position as lead bike technician. Learning the ins and outs of bike assembly and repair sparked his passion for mountain biking. Through Joe’s hard work, loyalty, and dedication to the company, he was awarded opportunities to travel to company events in Pittsburgh and Florida. Joe’s work ethic and skills of working well with peers earned Joe a promotion to hardlines lead of team sports, where his leadership, customer service, and visual merchandising skills flourished.

From an early age, Joe was a natural born athlete and loved any activity outdoors, and was first introduced to soccer and baseball. His love of athletic activities gave him momentum and a zest for learning new skills and he expanded his interests to biking, skiing, camping and boating, hunting and fishing, golf, and other sports. While Joe traveled across Colorado and out of state enjoying new experiences, he dedicated most of his time, energy, and passion to playing baseball as catcher and third baseman on a variety of club and competitive teams. He was nicknamed “the beast” by his teammates because of his ability to protect home plate and be a clutch power hitter.

Joe’s adventurous and fearless spirit fed his desire to experience new things. He took pride in becoming faster, stronger, and more resilient, expanding his capacity to be able to work longer and harder in all endeavors, satisfying his personal commitment to be the best that he set out to be. Joe also encouraged those around him to do the same, sharing with others his own positivity and desire to experience all things to their fullness. By helping peers, friends, and family to push past self-imposed limits, those he spent time with received the benefits of his belief in them.

Joe also made time to relax and renew, enjoying video games, movies, and TV shows. He was especially fond of film franchises such as Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, and Lord of The Rings. Starting at a young age, his ability to recite any line or scene from a favorite movie was remarkable. Participating in movie marathons with his sister was one of his favorite things to do in his down time.

Joe had a thirst for knowledge and a joy of learning. He took pride in researching and verifying factual information for himself and others in an array of topics. ranging from history, cars and trucks, sports, technology, finances, cooking and fitness. Joe possessed a practical, common sense outlook, a keen sense of fairness, and good humor that allowed him to respond with good judgment to any situation he found himself in.

Strong, handsome, intelligent, loyal, supportive, and with a wicked sense of humor, Joe grew into an amazing young man that made everyone proud. He was a pleasure to be with and his presence gave so much joy and happiness to those around him.

Joe is survived by his parents Todd and Lynn (Berliner) Sinclair and sister Sam Sinclair, all of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Joe was a dear nephew of Sue (Berliner) Marsden, cousin to Josh, Zach, Ben, and Michael-Kathryrn Marsden, and second cousin of Michael-James Marsden. Joe is also survived by many loving great aunts, uncles, extended cousins, and friends located across the United States and worldwide. Joe is preceded in death by his loving grandparents; Bud (Marion) and Peggy Sinclair of Littleton, Colorado and Joe and Shirley Berliner of St.Louis, Missouri.
