Matthew Harlan Warrick

Son of Lucas Warrick and Jessica Meinhart, Matthew was born on 5/5/03 in Des Moines. From a very young age Matthew could be described as one word: ornery! Matthew was always trying to push the limits, he knew one speed: fast and full throttle. Matthew had a special spot in his heart for music. He loved playing his guitars most which was self taught. Matthew was diagnosed with T-cell leukemia in 2019 he was unable to continue playing football and had to focus all his energy on his cancer treatments. In 2023 Matthew beat the odds and was declared cancer free!! Through out his treatment he stayed so positive and kept a smile on his face and everyone around him. He had moved to Georgia with his Dad, Cole and his sister Lydia. He made so many new friends out there was working his butt off but was missing home. He was able to come back home for his birthday week and it seemed like Gods plan one last good bye. A month later Matthew was tragically taken from us in a motorcycle accident. Matthews memories will live on forever he is deeply missed by so many.
