Gloria Lopez Rosa, 63, of Manassas, VA departed her earthly life on July 27, 2020 surrounded by her beloved family after a long struggle with cancer. Gloria was born on February 25, 1957 in the town of San Sebastián, Puctla, Puebla, Mexico. Her parents were Godeleva Rosas-Pérez and David Lopez-Riquelme.Maternal grandparents were Encarnacion Perez-Morales and Bartolomé Rosas-Arruti.Paternal grandparents were Catalina Riquelme and Elpidio Lopez-Gómez. Gloria’s siblings are Elpidio, Jacinto, (d.)Guillermo, Pascual, Del:na, Eric and David Lopez-Rosas.Gloria married her sweetheart Alfredo Lopez and in the 1990’s moved to Manassas. Gloria is survived by her children Jacqueline Lopez (h. Manuel Sarillana), Sonia Lopez (h. Faustino Lopez), Lorena Lopez, Yadira Lopez, Servando Lopez and Marleny López; and grandchildren Michelle, Glendy Mia, Gloria, Alejandro and Ian. Gloria also provided for friends and extended family members by giving love and a?ection while providing shelter in her home. Gloria worked diligently to help her husband provide for her family and extended family. Long hours were spent hand knitting and crocheting and later managing housekeeping sta?, but always dependable and cheerful always willing to lend a hand to everyone she met.Gloria loved to spend time with all her family and as the family grew it did not matter that the house seemed like it was getting smaller, because for her, family would get closer.
