Brian Neal Cox

Brian was the son of Glen and Barbara Cox of Benld. He was one of 11 children. Brian graduated from Gillespie High School in 1994. He then joined the Army after he graduated and was stationed at Ft. Hood Texas. He married Khara Sies Cox in December of 1994. After his time in service he returned home and became a Correctional Officer at Gram Correctional Center, then leaving there to work at Department of Justice Federal Correctional Facility in Greenville Illinois. Brian became a father to his pride and joy Brilynn H. Cox in January of 2011. Brian was tragically killed in November of 2019. Brian enjoyed fishing, watching football in his garage, listening to his music, taking country cruises with his daughter and loved his family unconditionally. He is deeply missed by his wife, daughter, several sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews.
