Life story
Dissie M Tankersley was born April 9, 1928 in Nineveh IN.
Being the 3rd living child of 5 bornn to Alfred & Ruby (Wren) Tankersley of Spearsville IN.
Dissie worked as a laundry attendant at Camp Atterbury during World War II. Thats where she met the love of her life Harry (Dale) Johnson.
They married on April 20, 1946 and not long after Dale was deployed to Japan with the Army. He was honorably discharged to come home for the birth of his first born
Janet K Johnson
whom was born breech on June 7, 1947 and sge survived only a few hours.
Dale & Dissue raised 10 of 11 children in Morgantown IN.
