Newell G Childers

Newell Gene Childers, age 61, of Pikeville, KY., passed from this life, Saturday, September 12, 2019. Gene was born August 5, 1958, to the late Newell and Ruth "Pugh" Childers in Pikeville, KY. Besides both parents, Gene is preceded in death by brothers, James Childers, Jerry Childers and David Lynn Childers; sister, Nancy Bailey; brother in law's, Herman Bailey and Harry Maness. Gene is survived by his devoted fiancée, Tammy Hall; daughter, Samantha Horn and her husband Jeff Horn; granddaughter, Carrie Ellen Horn. He is also survived by brothers, Danny Childers, Larry Childers and his wife, Kathy, Bill Childers and his wife, Donette; sisters, Barbara Maness and Elene May; two special children, His "Little Buddy" Kolton Hall and his "Princess" Addison Hall. Gene will be greatly missed by a large host of family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
