Vickie Dee Stellinga

Vickie was one of the best people to ever walk this earth! For those who knew her they would say the same! She was an amazing daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend!!! She has had the most contagious smile her whole life!! She grew up in small town Ashton, had many friends and close family members!! She graduated sheldon high school in 1991 extremely pregnant with me, her daughter Tara! She became the best mother any child could ever have! Along with being very successful in her few careers! She had her daughter Tara with Scott Ferguson of sibley, later separated. She ended up marrying her high-school sweetheart Matt Stellinga and having a wonderful son Zachary! Matt unexpectedly passed away in June of 2021, Vickie and her family lived in Sheldon most of their lives!
Some of her favorite things were fixing up old furniture and having huge anual garage sales! She got into selling ebay for a while but got more interested in fixing up old junk!! She loved collecting things like coca cola stuff, figurines like cherish teddy's and kim Anderson! Old antique ball jars and cheese greaters and scales! Wheat pennies were one of her favorite treasures to find!! She would get rolls of pennies from the bank just to check if there were any in there! She was also a big cat lover! Many stray cats that hung around her house over the years! Usually just one at a time but they were all her favorites! Earl, (black and white cat in photos) has been around the longest and he's pretty spoiled for a stray! We have been continuing to keep him spoiled!
Vickie is one that will never be forgotten!! All the joy and happiness she carried around and distributed will imprint everyone she knew for a lifetime!!
