A Mother's Love

One of my most cherished memories of my mom is from the day my first child, Logan, was born. After a difficult labor that ended in an emergency C-section, I had to be taken to the ICU, which meant I couldn’t be with Logan right away. It was one of the hardest moments of my life, not being able to hold my baby boy in those first precious minutes. But my mom was there, as she always was when I needed her most. While I was recovering, the doctor brought Logan out to the waiting room, and my mom was the first person to hold him. I wasn’t able to see it, but I can picture the pure joy on her face as she cradled what she would call "her baby". She loved that moment so much and would often talk about how special it was to hold him first. Knowing she was with Logan brought me so much comfort during that difficult time. This picture captured the moment when she handed Logan to me for the first time. I remember looking at her smile as she passed him to me, and feeling the deep love she had for both of us. In that moment, I realized how lucky I was to have a mom who was always there, with her unwavering support and love for me. My mom was the heart and soul of our family, and her love will continue to guide us, just as it did in those early moments with Logan. I’ll always be grateful for the way she embraced my son and me with such warmth and care, even when I couldn’t be there myself. This memory is a testament to the incredible woman she was, and I will carry it with me forever.
