❤️ Disc Golf ⛳️
Me, Mike, and Shane met up with Dad & Luke at the ? State Park to play disc golf. The disc golf baskets went through the woods & fields. It sprinkled a lot of the time. Of course! Lol. But we had a lot of fun.
Dean Kraxberger passed away quickly and unexpectedly in the comfort of his home in Woodburn Feb. 17, 2021. He was 66 years old. Dean was born March 21, 1954 in Oregon City. He was the first of six children born to parents, Norman and Patricia Kraxberger (Adams).
Dean lived most of his life in Canby, Ore. He attended Canby schools and graduated in 1972.
Dean attended Macksburg Lutheran Church and was confirmed and baptized there in his youth. He worked many years in construction and retired in 2019 from manufacturing windows in Tualatin.
Some of Dean's favorite pastimes included reading, watching movies, listening to music, and collecting stones and coins. Recently he had started playing his guitar again. Dean often shared his interests with friends and family by recommending books and giving gifts. He enjoyed playing lots of different sports and had recently taken up playing disc golf with his kids. Dean loved nature, the outdoors, and taking walks, especially on the beach or in the woods. Of all the things to do, Dean's very favorite was spending time with his family.
He had three children and two grandchildren who he loved dearly and saw as often as he could. He loved spending time at family gatherings with his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews, and their families. He was quick to offer help whenever it was needed and prioritized making memories and spending time with his family. Dean was a caring, generous, and patient person. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman; and sister-in-law, Denise (Dale). Dean is survived by his mother, Patricia of Woodburn; his children, Luke Kraxberger (Maggie) of Oregon City, Megan Bush (Michael) of Yakima, and Shane Sipes-Kraxberger of Yakima; Brenda Sipes of Yakima (mother to Megan and Shane); his grandchildren, Lucas (LJ) and Alessa Kraxberger (Luke); his siblings, Richard (Ilene), Don (Denise), Dale, Donita Hansen (Todd), Diane Gardner (Darren); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
