A mother's love is whole, no matter how many times divided

Betty Rae Newberry

Lifetime: Jan 07, 1943 - Jun 28, 2023

When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no nights in a gloom-filled room why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me....but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take and each must go alone, It's all a part of the Master's plan, A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds, Miss me....but let me go.

May this serve as a living tribute to Betty’s memory, who left this world a better place just by being in it.

Betty was a person who lived her life with faith and family as her foundation.

Her strong, unwavering faith showed in every aspect of her life. She relied on that faith through everything that her 80 years held in store for her, sharing it with anyone that was blessed to be around her. From her daily devotions, to picking up others for mass, providing the sacraments to the home bound, and being part of the church family. The countless hours she spent at church cleaning, decorating, and doing every aspect of the food pantry was all done through her love of the Lord.

Her children (6), grandchildren (15), and great grandchildren (19) were truly the light of her life; so it’s no surprise that in her final days her last smile was brought when she heard one of the great grandchildren laughing and running through her house. What a blessing that moment was. She made each of us believe that we were the favorite, because in her heart we were; with a different reason to her for each of us. She was a good daughter, sister, and friend. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Betty was born the fourth of eleven children. She loved each of her siblings dearly, and enjoyed all the time spent with each of them.
