Life story

Sal was a brother, son, nephew, friend, marine, and much more. He was intelligent, funny, and from what we have been told, the life of the party. Sal danced like nobody was watching when he was with his friends. Sal grew up in New Jersey, where he played football and tennis. His favorite football team was the NY Giants. He also loved to play Xbox with his friends. Sal was an animal lover and grew up with dogs and cats. Sal decided to follow in his dads footsteps and joined the Marines right after graduating high school. He served in the marines for 4 years, all while being stationed anywhere from Virginia to Okinawa, Japan. Sal spent those 4 years with friends, more like brothers. They traveled as much as they could and we are so glad sal got to see the world. After those 4 years Sal got his own apartment in Largo, Florida. There he got a good job as a machinist, and made great friends. His life was finally all falling together, at the age of 23 he was on track for a bright, successful future. On March 8th, 2021 Sal tragically took his own life. Seeing his smile and personality in pictures, you would never think he was struggling so hard. Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the US, while firearms accounted for 54.64% of all suicide deaths in 2022. Sal was so deeply loved, the sun truly has not been as bright since he has left us. He was a tough marine who hid behind his demons. So many of us have been shattered since sals death. He never deserved to feel the way he did. Sal deserved to be happy everyday, and to have felt the love we all have for him. After Sals terrible death, it is our job to check in on our loved ones who may be struggling. Remind your friends and family that they are loved, and the world is a better place with them in it. Thank you for reading, please do something kind for someone today in memory of Sal. Remember your life is so worth living, and tomorrow might be the best day of your life. Stay awhile ❤️

Happy Birthday Sally Boy

I can’t believe you would be 27 years old. You deserve to experience so much more life. I miss you so much, especially your quirks. We are celebrating you tonight at the Chinese buffet where you took the whole entire cheesecake from the buffet. A little embarrassing but you always made us laugh. I love you Sally boy. If there is an afterlife life or another realm i hope to get a chance to be your mom again and do a better job. I hope you are happy and at peace. I love you more than words. 🌻💔🎗️
