In loving memory of our beloved son Owen
Owen Fernando Peters
" He was so brilliant. On this one boy, God lavished so many talents that he could have enriched the world."
From the first moment we met Owen, we knew he was a special boy, he brought so much joy, love , kindness and light to our lives. We alway used to say he was the "Heart of the family."
As a baby, Owen was a happy and easy going. He constantly had a dimpled smile on his face. Owen and his sister Saige were simply inseparable, they were always together, shared a room, made up games and created memories like carpet picnics with their teddies and played together constantly.
As a young boy, Owen loved adventuring, catching snakes and doing anything outside with his family like shed hunting, quading and fishing. Owen did every sport under the sun like swimming, speed skating, pond hockey, archery, baseball, soccer, and karate.
Owen was quite small but during his early high school years he grew very quickly and became a tall, young man who was very capable in so many areas, he became a jack of all trades.
Owen continued to be so kind and considerate for all people he knew. Owen always played with his younger cousins, helped his grandpapa in his backyard, loved making pepperoni with his grandpa, did all sorts of jobs for his uncle like picking up hundreds of screws and was friends will all groups in school.
For his family, Owen brought joyful banter, giggles and hilarious pestering. For his dad, he was a best friend, a buddy, a partner and his other half. For Saige, he brought unconditional love, a sounding board, and a best friend. For his mom, he was her love, her pride and her joy. Owen was a son, a brother, a grandchild, a nephew, a cousin, and a friend. He was the best of us!
