William Alexander Stephens
“God Did”
William Alexander Stephens, affectionately known as “Willie D.”, was born June 5, 1979 in Orlando, Florida to parents, Elder Willie and Lucinda Stephens. He relocated to Palmdale, California temporarily, but came back home to Florida and settled in Deltona, Florida. He completed 14 years of education graduating from Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, Florida and attended Antelope Valley College in California. He also obtained his HVAC and heavy equipment certifications.
In 2005, William married his wife, Pam Carr-Stephens. To their union, 3 children were born, thus establishing his own family which he adored.
His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends and making sure everyone had a good time. With his magnetic smile and jovial personality, he touched the lives of all he encountered. He was well versed in many subjects and would never turn down a debate. He also loved cooking, sports, and working out. He was always dressed in the latest trends and presented himself in the best way possible. To know him was to love him and everyone that met him, has a fond memory to cherish his life.
William was a lifetime member of Miracle Temple Church of God In Christ, under the leadership of Superintendent Charles D. Butler and Missionary Annie R. Butler. He loved God and was a firm believer in Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his Aunt, Tommie Lou “Punch” Gibbs and Uncle, David Robinson.
He leaves behind his loving Wife, Pam Carr-Stephens; Children: Kimberly Stephens, Keyon Stephens, and Kanaya Stephens; Parents: Elder Willie T. Stephens and Lucinda Stephens; Siblings: Erica Spear and Leo Washington (Tamekia); Like-a-Brother, Mark Stephens (Tekesha); Sister-in-law, Rebecca Thomas (Ken); Special Nephew, Devante Spear (Sounley); Aunts and Uncles: Shelly Stephens (Jean), Solomon Stephens, Jr. (Mi), Ralph Stephens (Mary), George Stephens (Carolyn), Donald Stephens (Annie), Linda Stephens (Phillip), Kathy Robinson, Morris Stephens (Javana), and David Stephens; Godmother, Georgia Ann Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
