Roy Bellen Malone Jr.

Roy was born and raised in Indianapolis. He joined the Marine Corps after high school. 11 years in his beloved Corps until he found employment with FedEx as an Aircraft Mx Technician and found himself into frontline management. He retired from FedEx after 27 years. His hobbies included, bluegrass Music, Traveling on his Harley with Ginger. He met Ginger at his first duty station and immediately told her that she was the one. They were married at age 19 in 1979. Ginger grew up as a Navy dependent living in several states including Hawaii, Texas, California and Louisiana Where she graduated High School. She was a Pizza Hut waitress when she met Roy. The were married in Beaufort S.C. She was a home maker and part time worker until 1988 when she started full time employment in Memphis. They moved to Indy when Roy was discharged from the Marines where she started her long career with FedEx in 1989. She later got her nursing degree and worked as an RN for the VA hospital for 16 years working both jobs. She retired from nursing in 2022.
