In loving memory of
Destiny Isabella Villanueva
“God is close to those who are brokenhearted and He will save those with crushed spirits.” Psalm 34:18
Destiny truly was one of a kind daughter, sister and friend. Here on Earth she was the best older sister to her five siblings. Together, we were always a party of 8. Similar to the Brady Bunch Family we integrated our blended family into a close, tight and loving family. A family party full of laughter, good home cooked meals, trips, vacations, and family activities galore.
Being that Destiny was the oldest of the bunch she was always the one ready to help, assist, care or help nurture any of her younger siblings. Destiny was loving, caring, patient, kind, sweet, respectful and always mindful of everyone’s feelings. She had a passion for cooking and she always offered to help in the kitchen; whether it was cooking, wash dishes, set the table or picking up. Destiny was also always the one with the biggest appetite for any home cooked meal. Those home cooked meals with the entire party of 8 sitting at our family dinning table were, hands down, the best days ever. The conversations and laughter amongst the six children during a meal was truly a gift to us as parents. We were a tight family and as parents, we felt complete with hearts full of gratitude watching our six kids eating together. Our world was complete.
The days when all the kids were together was when we created the most amazing memories and experiences. We are glad we captured many of those moments on photos and videos. The sound of chaos, laughter and messes in the house when they were younger filled our hearts. The many trips/ vacations we took with Destiny will forever be engraved in our minds and in our hearts. The vacations to Costa Rica, Mexico, the Cruise to the Mexican Riviera, road trips, camping trips, day trips, visiting every single theme park in California and our endless list of places we visited together are now just a sweet memory from our time shared with Destiny while she was still here down on Earth with us.
Gone awfully soon. Destiny leaves an emptiness in our hearts, in our family photos, and at our dinning room table. Destiny’s departure from Earth has left deep sorrow, confusion and broken hearts in our home. With sadness in our hearts we understand it was time for Destiny to return home to our Father, Lord and Savior.
We pray for her Eternal Rest in Heaven and firmly believe we have an Angel watching over us from Heaven above.
