Benedict H Klunk
He was the beloved husband of Rose M. (Sneeringer) Klunk; the loving father of Andrew Klunk and his wife Martha, and Brenda Roth and her husband David; the cherished grandfather of Cara Jones, Katlyn Brummet and her husband Daniel, and Andrew Klunk, and the great-grandfather of Ava Althoff and Carter Brummet. He was preceded in death by his parents A. Lloyd and Anastasia Klunk and his 8 siblings.
Ben led a life rich in family, friends and his faith. Married to the love of his life for 62 years. A life long farmer, he also enjoyed preparing a huge garden for many, many years. Planting and harvesting the land that he enjoyed each and every day. In addition to farming, he also worked a full time job and retired from Bethlehem Mines in 1993. From there he worked and then retired again from Hanover Prest Paving. He then continued working the farm and continued to enjoy his love of gardening. He enjoyed visiting and talking with anyone who had a minute to chat. He always had a smile on his face, a grin or a little laugh to share. His smile was infectious and could make anyone else smile.
