Yong left peacefully from his home on Monday March 17, 2025 at 3:49am surrounded by his wife, his elderly mother and his children.
Yong was hospitalized on February 24, 2025 due to a stroke that affected his mobility, balance and health. He stayed in the hospital for three weeks and received daily therapy to help regain his independence and health.
Yong looked forward towards coming home and was finally discharged from the hospital on Friday March 14, 2025. His health seemed to be progressing but upon returning home it declined steadily over the next few days.
Sunday, March 16 was the last night that Yong's family and extended family members (via video and in person) would gather by his bedside.
In the early morning of Monday March 17, Yong departed on his eternal rest.
We miss you dearly but may you travel with light and love on this final journey.
