Brenda Marie Pollitt
Taken from us too soon. "Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand." -Irish Blessing
Brenda Pollitt, daughter of the late James Jr. and Rita Pollitt. She was the beloved sister of Debra Pollitt Bailey and the loving mother of two children, Jennifer Sweet Boisclair and Joshua Pollitt (later adopted).
Brenda will be remembered for her caring heart, her radiant smile, and the light she brought into the lives of everyone who knew her. Her sparkling eyes and joyful laugh were unforgettable. She enjoyed music, cherished time with her family and friends, and embraced every moment with joy and laughter.
After giving birth in 1982, Brenda was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, a disease that was little understood at the time. Lupus erythematosus is a chronic autoimmune disease where the immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissues, causing inflammation, pain, and damage to various parts of the body, including the skin, joints, and organs. She was given only a couple of years to live according to doctors at the time.
Despite the pain and challenges she faced from Lupus, she remained cheerful and resilient, living her life with strength and a good heart. She passed at the young age of 40.
She was a beautiful soul, deeply loved by many—especially her mother, Rita, and her daughter, Jennifer. Brenda’s warmth and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
