Corey Edward Self-Shearer passed away Friday, August 5th 2022 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 20 years old. He was born in Jackson,CA on December 3rd 2001, a son of Crystal Dawn (Self) and Ricky Lowell Shearer. Corey is survived by his parents Crystal and Ricky Shearer of Ione, CA sisters Madison,Makenzie and Reanna; grandparents Traci and Kent Marhefka of Jackson, CA, Elza Self of Oregon, Patricia West of Ione,CA; great grandparents Paul and Andrew Kinser of Rio Vista,CA and Clara Hawkins of West Point, CA; as well as many Aunts,Uncles and cousins.
Corey grew up in Amador County and attended Argonaut and Amador high schools. He enjoyed playing all sports, excelling especially in football, as well as being outdoors and fishing. Corey was passionate about connecting with family and had an unashamed personality.
