Retired Augusta, Farmer dies at daughter's home - Justus E Harrison, 75, succumb Saturday; funeral to be held tomorrow. Justus E. Harrison, 75, a retired Augusta community farmer, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Inez, Paul of 403 W. Michigan Ave., Battle Creek at 5:35 PM Saturday, following an illness of several months. he had been seriously ill since last Tuesday night when he suffered a stroke. mr. Harrison was born in Brady Township, Kalamazoo County on November 6, 1859 and had lived in Kalamazoo county nearly all his life. his wife, Clara, preceded him in death three months ago. besides the daughter at whose home he died, Mr. Harrison is survived by two sons, Clarence of 21 Wentworth Court, and Walter residing near Augusta; one brother Edgar Harrison of climax; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild. funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Garrett funeral home in Augusta, with the reverend LJ Nevins in charge. Burial will be made in Hickory corners cemetery.
