Love mommy and daddy

As s this marks the second year from your accident, I’m still not sure how to write a tribute for someone I’ve dreamed about my entire life. Not one second of one day has gotten any easier for me. Your friends continue to celebrate you and they’ve continued to look after your little family. You fulfilled every dream I had for you; every wish I could think for your life. I’m always proud of you. Even when you tripped, you picked yourself up and moved forward. Thoughtful: You always make sure that your brother was your first concern and the family you built had everything they needed. You showed up for your cousins and make sure that they always felt like they were the most important. Caring : You always read the cards before you found the perfect one to say how you felt. It was the time you were able to express your soft side and show that person how important they were. Respectful: You could be relentless when you wanted something, that’s why you ended up with a tattoo when you were just barely 15. It became an obsession and you wouldn’t stop about getting one on your your neck or head. I said once you have a good job and a wife I guess I can’t keep you from doing it, and the day you got married, you pulled me aside and you said “you know what’s next.” All I could say was thank you for respecting my wishes. Truth is you were old enough to do what you wanted, but you respected me. Honest: You would always confess to whatever naughty mischief you were up to. Productive adult: You worked every day since you were 18 years old. You left your family with a beautiful home, you showed the boys good work ethic, and to be there for people when they need you, and to love unconditionally. Responsible: You took your position as road captain more seriously than I could imagine. You spent hours preparing bike runs; looking up detours, road conditions, and the safest route for the boys. Considerate: You called me to let me know when you were going or coming from someplace. You knew I couldn’t breathe not knowing where you were and now I can’t breathe knowing where you’re at. You could work all day and drive all night to get home and show up for your friends because you didn’t know how to, or, who to say no to! You didn’t want someone to feel less important. Contributions: You were the first one up for families helping families on Thanksgiving. You didn’t miss a toy drive, you didn’t hesitate to to open your wallet when there was a fundraiser, or pull out all the money in your front pocket for some on the street. Honest: There were times I’d hear about hitting a lick, and as crazy as it made me, you were honest to a fault. Your daddy and I love you very much, baby You’ll always be mommy‘s honey bunch Love mommy and daddy
