In loving memory of
Amy Lynn Anderson
Only the weak are cruel…gentleness can only be expected from the strong.
Compassionate and devoted mother, daughter, and wife.
Amy Lynn Stowe was born on June 30th, 1978 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and passed away on August 5th, 2023. She was raised in foster care until 2 years old when she was adopted by her two loving parents, James and Patrica Stowe. Growing up in Bourne, Amy was an active member of the community and made many friends along the way. She participated in Girl Scouts and loved it, and was a cheerleader for Bourne Pop Warner Football. Her first job at 14 was at Burger King where she saved up money to buy her first car, a 1991 Toyota Celica. She graduated from Bourne High School in 1996. After graduating, she dreamed of starting a family of her own (10 kids to be exact). This plan began to come to fruition on September 15th, 1997 when she had her first child, Corey James Campinha. Two years later on November 30th, 1999 her second child, Anthony Jordan Campinha was born, followed by her daughter, Jasmine Ava Campinha being born on June 29th, 2005, her special birthday gift a day early. Always showing resilience and a great work ethic, she was back to work shortly after giving birth to two children, beginning work in the healthcare field as an administrative assistant. Amy always wanted to help others and throughout her years working at various organizations, she always made an effort to connect with the clients/patients, whether it was something as simple as a phone call having a conversation about an appointment, or being up at 7am on the Canal in the middle of winter for a charity event, she was always present. She took great pride and passion in helping others in her day to day life and at work, always attempting to be a light where needed, and showing a personal interest in her colleagues and patients. When not spending time with her friends and family, or working, She loved to watch stand up comedy such as Dane Cook and Ralphie May, enjoyed watching a variety TV shows including CrankYankers, MadTV, Saturday Night Live, Ru Pauls Drag Race, Flavor of Love, she also had an emotional side and loved sad movies like The Notebook and Steel Magnolias. She loved to rollerblade on the canal, and spent ample time at the beach either during the day or at night watching the sun set on the horizon. Amy will forever be remembered in our hearts as someone who wanted nothing more in this life but to live, laugh and love, with the ones she loved most, she made it her life's goal to love and protect her family in any way, and that impact will last forever.
