Theda Gail Pulliam Haynes

Theda Gail Haynes 67, of Knottsville, Kentucky entered into eternal peace Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 29, 1947, to the late Theodore and Jessie Pulliam of Hancock County who were store owners of Weber store for many years. She graduated from Hancock County High. Gail was a homemaker after working at Dennis & Akers drug store as the manager of the lunch counter. She only left there to raise her children and enjoy time with her family. She was a great cook who enjoyed cooking for her family and hosting family get togethers. She hosted a family BBQ every single year...sometimes multiple times per year. She also enjoyed bingo, shopping and reading. She loved to remodel her home and keeping up with the latest trend in home design. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Frankie Haynes; a sister-in-law, Agnes Haynes, a mother-in-law, Edith Haynes and a father-in-law, Dan Haynes. Her only sister, Ruth Harley passed Oct. 25, 2020. Her husband, Kenny Haynes, passed away Sept 15, 2022 and her only son, Andy Haynes, passed May 18, 2023. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Jeremy) Strider of Owensboro and a grandson, Caleb Hester of Knottsville, several sister & brother in laws & many nieces and nephews.
