Our Pretty
Life story

Azallia Salinas is a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, dear friend and so much more to all who knew her. Azallia was affectionately nicknamed “Pretty,” a name she carried since the day she was born. She valued spending time with her close-knit family, often visiting the beach together and going on adventures with her friends. As a lifelong resident of Wyandotte, Michigan she was well known for her one-of-a-kind personality. She always left a lasting impression, gaining new friendships wherever she went.

During Azallia’s childhood she had an incredible passion for cheerleading. At age three she was a cheerleader for flag football and then she moved on to cheer for the Wyandotte Indians football team. After six seasons with the Indians, she earned the Veteran Award for participating in the league. During middle school and high school, she was excited to join the competitive cheerleading squads. Her freshman year of high school she proudly earned a varsity letter. Azallia worked hard to achieve amazing tumbling skills. She trained for hours perfecting her back walkover, timing back handspring connections, and gracefully landing her back tuck. After her time as a cheerleader, she enjoyed volunteering and working with kids as a Junior Coach with the Wyandotte Indians. Azallia also worked as a tumbling instructor teaching younger athletes the tumbling skills she had mastered.

Adventurous is a word that well describes Azallia. She loved to travel to the ocean and was always eager for new experiences including parasailing, four wheeling, and horseback riding. She enjoyed exploring the world and meeting new people. Azallia had a very diverse group of friends as she easily made friendships everywhere she went. Her kind heart and irresistible personality instantly attracted people to her. Azallia was a horror movie enthusiast. She always enjoyed catching the newest scary movie and was a fan of the Terrifier series. As an animal lover, Azallia adored her loyal dog, Mac, and her affectionate cat, Bean.
