Gabriel Michael Bierly

Gabriel Michael Bierly, 7, of Huntington Mills, PA, went home to be with his Savior unexpectedly on Friday, March 5, 2021.

Gabe was born in Wilkes-Barre on Nov. 26, 2013. He was the pride and joy of his parents, Adam and Sara Bierly. Gabe had a beautiful, infectious smile and a heart of gold. Gabe had a deep love and concern for everyone around him. He was always ready to jump in and help someone in need. Gabe was eager to lift someone's spirits with a kind word or a hug. These hugs eventually became affectionately known as “Gabe Hugs". Gabe was a blessing and a gift from Heaven to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Gabe enjoyed riding his scooter and bicycle outside with his siblings. He was the middle child, but he proudly took on the role of leader and fierce protector of his siblings.

Gabe loved helping in the kitchen preparing meals and setting up for parties and cookouts. One of Gabe's biggest joys in life was enjoying a meal with family and friends.

Gabe loved taking surprise photos and videos with his parents cell phones for them to enjoy later. Those photos and videos have now become priceless treasures to his family.
In addition to his parents, Gabriel is survived by paternal grandparents, Dawn and Christopher Bierly, Benton; maternal grandparents, Michael Blejwas, Lehman; and Deena Kozick, Apache Junction, Arizona; sister, Tiana Bierly; brothers, Xackary, Nico and Emmett Bierly; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Shortly before his passing, Gabe made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Savior. Even at a young age Gabe understood that he needed Jesus to forgive him for his sins. Accepting Jesus as his Savior means Gabe is in Heaven right now. Gabe is missed greatly by his family, but they all look forward to being reunited with him in Heaven one day.
