Danilo Garfil Nazareno - Sr

On November 20, 1955, Danny was born as Danilo Garfil Nazareno (65) in the Manila, Phillipines to Dionisio and Felicidad Nazareno. Danny and his siblings Virginia, Mila, and Bernadette arrived in the Unites States in February of 1970, where Danny attended McAteer High School of San Francisco, California.

Three years after arriving to the U.S., Danny started a family with Juliet Viray and received his first-born son, Danilo V. Nazareno Jr. on July 6, 1973, and the two married on August 26, 1973. Shortly after, his first-born daughter, Monica V. Nazareno was born on March 14, 1975.

Danny began working at Chevron Gas Station as a Gas Attendant in July of 1973. After being top salesman consecutively in the district, he was promoted to Station Manager in 1974. Danny then started his career as an Auto Mechanic while taking on the role as a Station Manager. After seven dedicated years, in 1981, he was promoted to Area Manager of the District. After proving his skills and professionalism, in 1986, Danny was promoted to Engineer and transferred to Chevron's Corporate Office in San Ramon, CA. There, he retired as Engineer Manager after 31 years.

In the Winter of 1987, Danny then started dating Gloria Ludovico. The two became married on October 21, 1989. Danny gifted Gloria with her first-born son, Jeremy L. Nazareno on August 16, 1990. Shortly after, Gloria gifted Danny with his youngest daughter, Jasmine L. Nazareno on May 27, 1992.

In 1999, Danny's daughter, Monica, made him a grandfather, to his first-born Granddaughter, Janessa Cayabyab. Following her, Danny received 2 more grandchildren, Dominic Cayabyab and Rachael Cayabyab. On May 2, 2013, Danny's Son, Danny Jr., added a second grandson, Julien Nazareno.

After Danny retired, he still enjoyed helping his love ones with projects. Whether if it was car issues or handy work around the house. In Danny's recent years, he developed a new love for Bike riding. Danny loved riding his bicycles throughout all of San Francisco. But most of all, Danny is remembered for his music! He was known to play the guitar and the piano, but most of all, he LOVED to sing. Music was his life and life was his music! The memories of Danny will forever live; not only in memory, but in our heart, mind, body, and soul.
