Juan Lorenzo Arceo, most often and affectionately known as Dig, was born on May 1, 1993, in Salina, Kansas, and passed away peacefully at home at the age of 33 in Omaha, Nebraska on May 9, 2026. Juan was a hardworking, hilarious, and deeply loving man whose life revolved around his family and friends. He grew up in Brookville, Kansas, and graduated from Ell-Saline High School in 2011. In 2012, he moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he began working for Morton Buildings, starting a career that spanned more than a decade and built familial friendships that would last a lifetime.

In June of 2012, Juan met Katie, the woman who became his wife and the love of his life. For almost 14 years together, they built their family of four daughters, who were the center of his world.

Juan is survived by his beloved wife, Katie Arceo (Veskrna); his daughters, Sophia (10), Scarlett “Stoney” (8), Salem (3), and Suede (1); his parents, Albina “Linda” Arceo (Chavez) and Cresencio Delgado-Arceo; his brothers, Salvador Arceo, Cresencio II “Chencho” Arceo, and LuizAntonio “Louie” Arceo; his sister Victoria Arceo; his nieces, Lola Arceo and Valeria Arceo; his in-laws, Charlotte Evans and Les Veskrna; his siblings-in-law, Rhianne Evans and Cole Evans; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members who all loved him dearly.

Juan loved horse racing, good country music, road trips, football (only the Cowboys & Longhorns), his family and friends, and helping others. He had a way of showing his love through action by being the hardest worker ever and always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. His humor, stubborn streak, and strong work ethic are traits that will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.

Juan’s life, though far too short, was full of meaning, love, and impact. He will be remembered and loved always.
