Gordie was born in Greensburg, PA in 1965 to William & Mary Dunlap. He was the youngest of 3 with Older brother Andy and sister Laurie being much older than him. At the age of 12, Gordie lost his dad to cancer and spent his high school years in the Philadelphia area. Upon Graduation, Gordie went to the Tyler School of Art where he honed his art skills and learned Graphic Design. Shortly after graduation Gordie moved to Tioga County, PA. He worked several illustration and design positions before landing at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital where he basically worked until his death. In 2007 Gordie married his Soulmate Princess Catherine (Bullock) of Guelph and in 2009 they welcomed their first child Jadyn. She was the apple of her Daddy's eye. He was so proud of her and everything that she did. In 2013 Gordie and Cathy welcomed Justin into their home and he officially joined the family in 2015 taking on his Daddy's name as his middle name. Gordie was an avid runner, an incredible drummer, the kindest person you would ever meet. He was silly, thoughtful, caring and loved his family fiercely. While doing what he loved to do, Gordie ran into the waiting arms of Jesus while on his lunchtime jog on May 20, 2026. Gordie was an inquisitive man, he was all in and he wanted to know things - not just take them at face value. He studied his Bible like crazy, asking the questions that others would be afraid to ask. He prayed for anyone who needed prayer and was the Spiritual leader of his household. Gordie will be missed by many but no one will miss him more than his family.
