Life story
Turning hearts is a gift to our mother (Crystal Skaggs) for Mother’s Day, May 10, 2026.
(Dad this is for you too you aren’t chopped liver as you say🤣)
Jacob Burns Skaggs was born November 28, 1985. He was the first born to our parents Clelly Jay Skaggs and Crystal Starr Skaggs. Jacob is a beloved son, father, grandson, brother, uncle, great uncle ( the GREATEST uncle he would say), nephew, cousin and last but not least, friend to many.
Jacob loved the Lord and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was young. He loved his kids more than anything in this world and cherished every moment he had with them. He loved video games (in face he named his children after characters from video games), dancing (he claimed he was the best dancer), hunting, fishing, cars, DA Bears and the Chicago Cubs. He really enjoyed going to games with our parents and other friends and family members who were Chicago fans.
Jake was Jokester and he always knew how to make anyone laugh. From the time he was a child he always silly and putting a smile on everyone’s face. So if you have a chance please share a tribute or send pictures to Holly, Veronica or Justin Skaggs to post photos/videos to put on this page to enjoy his memory of laughter and love. Thank you all very much! We can wait to see all the memories and the love! (:
