William Wyatt Adair
Be Kind to one another, care for the earth and its creatures, and live authentically
Wyatt was a joyful, thoughtful, and fiercely independent young man whose kindness touched everyone who knew him.
He attended Odyssey Community School from preschool through 9th grade, where his authentic spirit was nurtured and lifelong friendships were formed. During those years, he played bass guitar in the school band and spent a semester at the Outdoor Academy, where he deepened his connection to nature and developed a lasting love for hiking in the mountains.
At Asheville High School, Wyatt participated in the Junior Fire Fighters program, embracing its physical challenges. He loved staying active—working out at the gym, practicing Kung Fu, and exploring hands-on crafts like blacksmithing. He also enjoyed video games and had a natural ability to bring people together.
Wyatt's creative spirit shone brightly in his love of Dungeons & Dragons, where he often served as Dungeon Master—guiding friends through imaginative adventures filled with laughter, camaraderie, and storytelling.
His warmth and charm were evident in his work. At Andaaz Indian Restaurant, he delighted customers and made people feel welcome. Most recently, he worked at Pie.Zaa, where he was deeply appreciated and loved by his coworkers. Wyatt was also a student at AB Tech, pursuing a welding certificate as he began building his future with purpose and determination.
Known for his wit, humor, and generous heart, Wyatt was a loyal friend and a deeply loving son, brother, and partner. He believed in the power of love to heal and transform, and in the deep oneness that connects us all.
Though his life was far too short, the love Wyatt gave continues to live on in the many lives he touched.
