My Friend Christopher

Chris, I got the call from Robert. I’m not going to dance around it and I’m not going to get all soft on you either. You know me better than that what I will say is this I’ve been thinking about the years not in some big dramatic way just a small stuff how we could go months or years and still pick it right back up like no time past that doesn’t happen by accident that stretch in Florida sticks with me three months and it’s still felt too short just sitting around talking laughing going over the same stories like they were brand new. That’s the good stuff right there I’m glad I made that drive really glad we both seen enough in life to know how things can turn when my wife went through it. I learned real quick what matters and what doesn’t no speeches no big words just time and who you spend it with that’s what I keep coming back to with you. It’s been a good run, my friend a really good one not much else to say that we haven’t already covered over the years. It’s been one hell of a run. I’ll see you on the flipside brother your friend George Kozel, April 27, 2026.
