Donnely Oliver Dahl
Donnely Dahl was born on June 16, 1961, to Oliver and Florence Dahl in Granite Falls. He was Baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Renville, and graduated from Renville Public high School. He attend Willmar Tech in the Sales and Marketing Program and began working at Blackbourn Inc. of Olivia in 1981. On June 14, 1986, he was united in marriage to Brenda Andree at First Lutheran and they lived in Olivia. He enjoyed camping, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. His death occurred on June 23, 1989, in Olivia, at the age of 28.
Donnely is survived by his wife Brenda of Olivia; three sons: Willie, Joshua, and Brent; his parents Oliver and Florence of Renville; two sisters: Arlene (Mrs. Fred) Wohlman of Renville and Janet Schemmel of Olivia; two nieces; three nephews; and six great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday June 27, 1989, at 10:30 a.m. from the First Lutheran Church in Renville, with Paster Lee Hallstrom officiating. Music will be provided by the organist, Jean Prior, and songs will be sung by the congregation. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be: Todd Bruns, Lonnie Engstrom, Troy Blackenhagen, Gary Clouse, Charlie Gilchrist, and Dean Anderson.
