Allen Edward Lantagne
This Ain't No Fricking Game Ya Know
He was born on December 7, 1962 to the late Edward and Linnea (Sodergren) Lantagne.
On February 11, 2000 he married Kimberly (Hyde) Lantagne in Escanaba. Through the years Allen worked construction, owned and operated Six Pack Transport and later the Retro Station in Escanaba.
Al loved to participate in the tractor pulls at Shakey Lakes, playing his numerous guitars at the local nursing homes, and his very favorite pastime: spending time with his grandchildren. He enthusiastically cheered on the Green Bay Packers and was looking forward to their post season run. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed attending the yearly Whitetails banquet. He played cribbage every week with his wife Kim, aunt Jean Menard, and sister-in-law Jamie Hyde, where he normally lost and complained about it the entire way home. He was incredibly close with his siblings and their children and could be often found dropping in to visit, with or without an invitation. He had a knack for telling colorful stories and his unique sense of humor will be sorely missed.
