Our Boy

A milestone you should have been here for. Our little boy finished Pre-K. I will always try my hardest to make sure we bring these moments to you, too. Forever loved, forever remembered. 🤍

You were always respectful and sweet to me and my daughter. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have such a handsome grandson. I wish you would have reached out to me or something because I would have been there. The world will never be the same. You will never be forgotten and we will make sure Kylan always remembers you and the good times y'all spent together. The smile you brought to my daughter's face was always big. She truly did love you and although I wish things would have been different we can't change it now. Just keep your arms around my babies and keep them safe wherever they go. Rest easy Jaydee. I love you son.

There are no words that could ever fully capture the impact you had on our lives. You were such an important part of my story and will always hold a special place in my heart. Let’s be honest, I never thought I’d share so much “life” with the guy I met in middle school but I wouldn’t change a thing! God knows and doesn’t make mistakes. You should be here. The memories we shared shaped so much of who I am today and I will forever be grateful for the time and history we had together that resulted in the blessing of becoming parents. The greatest gift you left behind is our son, Kylan. Through him, your spirit, your smile, and your love continue to live on. The photos of the two of you together are more than just pictures—they are treasured moments frozen in time. They capture the love in your eyes and the special bond you shared, a connection that will always remain a part of him. Kylan will grow up being able to look back on these memories and feel just how deeply he was loved by his dad. I promise to make sure he always knows who you were and the lasting impact you have on his life. We will always cherish the memories of your FaceTime calls and the laughter you shared with Kylan. Those moments meant so much to both of you and reflected the beautiful bond you had as father and son. Kylan especially misses his playmate—every time your name is mentioned or when we visit your grave, he softly says, “I wish I could play with him again.” That love and connection will forever live in his heart and in the memories we hold close. You are deeply missed, forever loved, and will never be forgotten. Your memory lives on in the hearts of all who loved you, and especially in the little boy who carries a piece of you with him every single day. Until we get to see you again!!
